Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service at Croydon University Hospital

Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service at Croydon University Hospital logo

The information centre is designed to help make sure that anyone affected by cancer has free access to good quality information and emotional and practical support.

You don’t need an appointment or referral to attend.  You can simply pop in to pick up some information or drop in for a chat.

The centre aims to create a friendly relaxed atmosphere and the time and space to share your concerns or ask any questions you may have.

Outreach service
An outreach service is available at the Healthy Living Hub,  based inside Croydon Central Library. We can see anybody who is affected by cancer, or anyone who would like any cancer information. This takes place on the first Monday of the month between 11 – 12:30pm but do ring the centre (020 8401 3441) first.

Walking for Health
Walking for Health is a regular walk organised by the Centre.  Each week we get together with cancer patients, their families and carers and hospital staff to go for a walk.
Walking can aid recovery, get people enjoying the outdoors and give people a time to get together and talk.
We meet at the Macmillan Centre on Wednesday and 1pm and Fridays at 11am for a 30 to 45 minute walk.

All are welcome to join so If you are interested in joining us please contact the centre.
