Benefit Enquiry Line (Croydon Council)

What we do
Each year we assist hundreds of Croydon residents to claim extra benefits which can help towards regular costs such as fuel bills, healthier food, care, mobility and council tax. We can also give advice on 'one-off' payments to help with things like removal costs.

Welfare benefits hotline
We run a freephone telephone advice line: 0800 731 5920.

It only takes a few minutes to check whether you may be entitled to any benefits or, if you are already claiming, that you are getting all the right benefits at the correct level.

If you are not, we may be able to help you complete the appropriate forms or provide details of other organisations that may be able to help you.
The helpline is open on the following days:
Monday 2pm - 7pm
Tuesday 3pm - 4.30pm
Wednesday 11am - 2pm
Friday 9am - 12pm

There is also good advice and information on the Gov.uk website - www.direct.gov.uk/disability-money
