Seasonal Affective Disorder Association (SADA)

SAD.org.uk (Seasonal Affective Disorder Association) is a voluntary organisation and registered charity.  We aim to be a source of information about SAD for the public, health professionals and the media.

Our website offers lots of information about SAD. Members have access to their own area of the website where they can download our information booklet, newsletters, scientific and general articles.  There is a postal service for those who need it.

Members are also offered telephone and email support.  SAD is a debilitating illness caused by lack of bright light mainly during Autumn and Winter. The major symptoms of SAD are depression, sleep problems, anxiety, poor cognitive function and social problems.  There is often a much improved change of mood in the Spring.
