At Welcare we work with children and families across South London and East Surrey. We help parents and carers use their strengths and skills to nurture happy and confident children.

Our services are tailored to the real needs of the communities in which we work.

We provide practical help and support to families, empowering them to rebuild their lives and access opportunities to ensure their children have a happy, confident childhood and future.

Services include:

  • The Evidence based Webster Stratton Parenting Programme running over 13 weeks during term time with the goal to helping parents learn new skills in managing their child’s behaviour.
  • A Road to recovery programme which is a special course for women who are recovering from abusive relationships including domestic abuse, again a 13 week ‘How to’ programme.
  • Individual counselling sessions to parents.
  • One to one parenting and family support for families who are struggling to cope – offering help with behaviour management, parenting and play skills. We also offer information, advice, advocacy and practical & emotional support on a range of issues.

We also provide a crèche for children 0 – 5 years for parents who are using our service. Term time only.

For referrals from professionals we require a completed (CAF) Common Assessment Framework form.
